Vietnam has four golf resorts among the world’s Top 100, including the best in Asia, according to Golf magazine.
The U.S. publication, in its latest rankings released at the end of September, has named Laguna Golf Lang Co in Thua Thien – Hue Province, Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Da Nang City, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, and FLC Halong Bay GC & Luxury Resort in Quang Ninh Province among the world’s best.
The four also made Asia’s list of 11 best golf resorts.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club is ranked as the top golf resort in Asia.
This 18-hole course, designed by former world number one golfer Luke Donald, stretches nearly 7,200 meters with a standard par of 72. It won the World Golf Award for best course in Asia in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
The remaining places in the Asian list are occupied by golf resorts in Cambodia, Korea, Thailand, and China.
The rankings are based on votes by golfing experts providing recommendations for golf enthusiasts planning their next golfing adventure. The criteria for evaluation included accessibility, scenic beauty, amenities, unique non-golf experiences, and the professionalism of the staff.
Vietnam’s central region has increasingly garnered global attention in recent years, with both its golf courses Ba Na Hills and Laguna Lang Co featured in the top 100 being designed by Luke Donald.
The region also has courses designed by other legendary golfers such as Greg Norman, Colin Montgomerie, Robert Trent Jones Jr, and Jack Nicklaus.
