FPT, FWD, Heineken, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, DNSE, and Haravan were honored as the best technology environment enterprises at Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day 2023 on Friday.
This is the first year the CTO Summit Technology Leadership Conference has been organized at the annual AI event to honor enterprises with a technology-rich working environment.
Launched in mid-July, the award received more than 50 nominations and 17 were shortlisted for the next round.
FPT
FPT is one of the pioneering enterprises in technology and digital transformation in Vietnam. The company has representative offices in 29 countries and territories.
The group has invested trillions of dong to create comfortable office complexes and offices with utility ecosystems to meet employees’ demand for working, entertainment, studying, and accommodation.
One of FPT’s unique cultures is the core staff training program, which helps young talents enhance their skills and knowledge, in addition to developing their leadership and management skills, so as to become the future generation of leaders. Last year, it spent nearly VND130 billion on training.
FWD
FWD is an insurance group with more than 11 million customers that operates throughout Asia. FWD Vietnam was founded in 2016 and has earned a name for itself through technologically advanced products and services.
Transforming the working environment at the FWD office from traditional to digital with a high level of engagement and personalization not only increases job efficiency but also guarantees employees enjoy the most efficient and convenient experience possible.
The company has its own chatbot system to support employees from afar. FWD has a varied policy towards recognizing achievements and thanking employees with bonus points.
The company also organizes online courses and workshops for employees to improve their skills.
Heineken
From the first factory in Ho Chi Minh City in 1991, Heineken Vietnam now has six factories with more than 3,000 employees.
The company considers people as the central element in its development journey. The working environment at Heineken emphasizes innovation, creativity, and application of new technology.
In 2023, the company trained 50 employees in skills related to cloud computing and digital project management.
Heineken also regularly organizes sessions about new technology trends such as generative AI, cloud computing, and the metaverse.
Heineken Vietnam factories optimize labor processes with new technology solutions such as IoT, robotics, and AI. The company also developed a smart sales support application for 2,500 employees.
Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group
VNPT Group is gradually transforming from a traditional telecommunications service provider to a digital service provider (DSP), becoming an economic group focusing on developing innovative ICT products, services, and solutions.
The working environment at VNPT scores points for its modernity, dynamism, and good remuneration. Each individual has the opportunity to learn and develop their capacity.
VNPT has attracted a large team of talented people, experts in research and development, business administration, and leading engineers in high technology. VNPT’s goal is to become the leading digital service provider in Vietnam by 2025 and the Digital Hub of Asia by 2030.
DNSE
Among the SMEs, CTO Summit honored DNSE, a company founded in 2007 and a pioneer Vietnamese enterprise in applying modern digital technology to financial and securities products. The company has a team of more than 200 employees, with more than 50% in the technology sector.
A DNSE representative said that the company’s working environment focuses on young people as the center of innovation and creativity.
Therefore, hackathon activities and online and offline sharing sessions are regularly organized.
A comfortable working environment and encouraging work-life balance are important factors that the company’s leadership always focuses on developing.

Haravan
Haravan was founded in March 2014, specializing in providing solutions for sales, marketing, and operations management in business from online to offline.
With rapid growth in e-commerce, Haravan was chosen by Facebook as the only Vietnamese partner in developing the Facebook Messenger platform business and is one of two startups in Vietnam chosen by Google to participate in the Launchpad Accelerator program.
In addition to a dynamic working environment, Haravan also regularly updates new technology trends, allowing employees to be challenged and create breakthroughs to quickly adapt to market changes.
AI4VN 2023 is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by VnExpress in coordination with the Club of Faculties, Institutes, and School of Information Technology and Communications (FISU). After 5 years, AI4VN has gathered a total of more than 10,000 participants and more than 100 speakers towards developing a sustainable AI ecosystem in Vietnam.
