During the visit, the Chairman met with Vietnamese representatives and officials in Singapore. Ambassador Mai Phước Dũng highlighted the 25,000-strong community’s adherence to local laws and their role as a bridge between the two nations.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Minh Khương applauded Việt Nam’s recent reforms and the NA’s efforts to tackle institutional challenges. He praised the legislature’s innovation and progress in policymaking.
The Chairman highlighted Việt Nam-Singapore’s growing partnership, with Singapore being a top ASEAN trading partner and investor. The Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Parks are a strong symbol of their cooperation.
He reaffirmed the State’s commitment to supporting overseas Vietnamese and urged representatives in Singapore to further strengthen bilateral relations, particularly through enhanced legislative collaboration.
