NA Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn emphasized the shift from imposing bans to enabling effective management through reformed legislative practices. He highlighted the removal of institutional bottlenecks during a conference reviewing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.

The 15th NA and its Standing Committee have embraced innovation in law-making, drawing from lessons learned, expert opinions, and public feedback. Efforts focus on clear laws, streamlined procedures, and balanced management to facilitate development.

During its 8th session, the NA passed 18 laws, adopted 21 resolutions, and reviewed 10 bills, addressing key challenges for citizens and businesses. These actions reflect a commitment to practical and timely legislative solutions.

Mẫn outlined plans to implement newly adopted laws, streamline the political system, and enhance responsibility among officials. Heads of agencies are expected to lead by example in promoting awareness and accountability.

Looking ahead, the NA will focus on waste reduction, planning for the 16th legislature, and preparing for the 2026-2031 elections. These steps aim to ensure continued innovation and responsiveness in legislative work.
