Vietnam Wall Volunteers Feel ”Deeply Honored to Serve”

Some of the area volunteers working this weekend at the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall in Hillsdale, Indiana say they ‘’feel deeply honored to serve.’’  Among them are Jamie and Louwanna Wallace who were busy helping visitors find the location of friends and loved ones on the Wall.

The Vietnam Traveling Wall and another Some Gave All Memorial Wall – honoring those who lost their lives on 9-11, and in Iraq and Afghanistan – are on display in the Vermillion County, Indiana town until Sunday night (June 11, 2023) at 9 o’clock.  The location is just off Indiana route 63 and there are flags and signs along the highway to help guide you to the Walls.

You can visit the Walls – free of charge – around the clock.  Volunteers are also manning golf carts which will take you from your vehicle to the Walls at no cost if you would like a ride.
