Party General Secretary To Lam emphasized the need for institutional reforms to address obstacles and accelerate administrative changes. He called for collective efforts to create a supportive environment for development and overcome bottlenecks effectively.

The national conference reviewed Resolution No. 18 from 2017 and assessed Vietnam’s socio-economic performance in 2024. Discussions focused on strategies for 2025 and addressing institutional challenges to improve efficiency.

To achieve ambitious economic goals by 2030 and 2045, Vietnam needs consistent double-digit growth. Key priorities include improving infrastructure, reforming institutions, and enhancing human resources to support rapid development.

The Party leader highlighted the importance of aligning economic growth with social welfare and environmental goals. He urged efforts to eliminate poverty, improve housing, and implement inclusive welfare policies for the people.

Preparation for Party congresses at all levels is vital for future progress. He stressed the importance of streamlining the political system and ensuring fairness in personnel arrangements to meet the country’s evolving needs.
