Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has called for faster state budget collection, especially from land-related sources, in December 2024. The goal is to maximize revenue to support socio-economic tasks for 2025 and the 2026-2030 period.

The Ministry of Finance is tasked with improving revenue management and ensuring full tax compliance. Agencies will focus on accurate tax calculations and payments to prevent losses to the state budget.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) will continue to promote the Land Law and address implementation challenges. Localities will be encouraged to issue guidelines and update land price lists to streamline land auctions and allocations.

The Ministry of Construction will focus on removing obstacles to real estate projects, especially those with good liquidity. This aims to boost the real estate market and attract investment, increasing state budget revenues.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment will address institutional barriers, pushing forward transport and infrastructure projects. The State Bank of Việt Nam will also help facilitate credit access for the real estate sector to promote sustainable market growth and generate more state revenue.
